About these terms
These terms govern your use of octivratech.com (the “website”), operated by Octivra Technologies (“Octivra”, “we”, “us”), a software engineering company based in Pakistan. Incorporation with the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) is in progress.
By using the website, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree with them, please don’t use the website.
An informational website
The website provides general information about Octivra, the services we offer and the products we are planning. It is not an offer to sell anything and does not create a binding commitment.
Products described on the website, including Octivra ERP, Octivra StockAudit, Octivra HR and Octivra Insights, are planned or in development unless a page clearly states otherwise. Their features, timing and availability may change, and nothing on the website promises that a product will be released in a particular form or on a particular date.
Any work we carry out for you will be governed by a separate written agreement. If that agreement conflicts with these terms, the agreement applies.
No warranties
We work to keep the website accurate and up to date, but we provide it “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied — including warranties of accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don’t warrant that the website will be uninterrupted, error-free or free of harmful components.
Information on the website is general in nature and is not professional advice for your particular situation. Please talk to us before relying on it for a business decision.
Content ownership
The website and its content — including text, graphics, illustrations, page designs and the Octivra name, logo and brand mark — belong to Octivra or are used with permission, and are protected by intellectual property laws.
You may view, print and share pages for your own information, and you are welcome to link to any page. You may not copy, modify, republish or commercially use our content, or use our name, logo or brand mark, without our written permission.
Other names mentioned on the website, such as Microsoft, .NET, SQL Server, Blazor and DevExpress, are trademarks of their respective owners. We mention them to describe the technologies we work with; this does not imply any partnership with, or endorsement by, those owners.
Acceptable use
Please use the website lawfully and considerately. You agree not to:
- try to gain unauthorized access to the website, its servers or related systems, or probe, scan or test their vulnerability without our written permission;
- disrupt or overload the website, including through automated requests, high-volume scraping or denial-of-service attacks;
- upload or transmit malware or any other harmful code;
- use the contact form to send spam, unsolicited advertising or unlawful, abusive or misleading content;
- impersonate another person or misrepresent your connection with any person or organization.
We may limit or block access from any address or network that we reasonably believe is misusing the website. If you think you have found a security vulnerability, please tell us rather than testing it further.
Information you send us
When you contact us, please make sure the information you provide is accurate and that you are entitled to share it. Please don’t send confidential or commercially sensitive information through the contact form; once we have spoken, we can agree on a more suitable way to share it.
Contacting us does not by itself create a client relationship, a duty of confidentiality or a contract. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle the personal information you send.
Links to other websites
The website may link to websites run by others, such as Google’s privacy policy. We don’t control those websites and aren’t responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices. A link does not mean we endorse the website or its owner.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Octivra is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data or business opportunity, arising from or related to your use of — or inability to use — the website or its content, even if we were told that such loss was possible.
The website is provided free of charge. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
Governing law
These terms, and any dispute arising from them or from your use of the website, are governed by the laws of Pakistan, and the courts of Pakistan have exclusive jurisdiction over any such dispute.
If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining terms stay in full effect.
Changes to these terms
We may update the website, its content and these terms at any time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page shows when these terms last changed. By continuing to use the website after a change, you accept the updated terms.
