The short version
This site is built to collect as little as possible. The sections below explain each point in full.
-
Only what you send us
We collect the details you enter in the contact form and use them to reply — nothing else.
-
Never sold or shared for marketing
We don’t sell, rent or trade personal information, and we don’t pass it to advertisers.
-
Essential cookies only
A security cookie protects the contact form. A theme cookie is set only if you pick light or dark mode.
-
No tracking
No analytics, advertising pixels or social media trackers run on this site.
Who we are
octivratech.com is the website of Octivra Technologies (“Octivra”, “we”, “us”), a software engineering company based in Pakistan. Incorporation with the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) is in progress.
This policy explains how we handle personal information collected through this website. It does not cover software we build or operate for clients — that work is governed by the agreement we make with each client — or other websites we link to.
Information we collect
We collect two kinds of information:
- What you choose to send us. When you use the contact form, we receive your full name, business email address, company name, the service you are interested in and your message, plus your phone number if you decide to add it.
- What your browser sends automatically. Like every website, our server receives your IP address, browser details and the address of the page you requested with each visit. See Server and security logs.
We never ask for sensitive information — such as financial, health or identity-document details — and we ask that you don’t include it in your message.
How we use it
We use the information you send us only to:
- read and reply to your inquiry, and follow up on the conversation you started;
- keep a record of our correspondence with you;
- protect the website and the contact form from spam, abuse and attacks.
We don’t add you to mailing lists, send you marketing you haven’t asked for, or use your information for profiling or automated decision-making.
How messages are delivered and kept
When you submit the contact form, your message is delivered to our team by email and is then held in our business mailbox, which only the people who handle inquiries can access. If online delivery is ever unavailable, the form offers to open a pre-filled email in your own email app instead, so nothing is held on the website.
To limit repeated submissions, the form checks your IP address against a short-lived counter kept in the web server’s memory. The address is not stored with your message, and our application logs record that a message was sent without recording your name, email address, phone number, message or IP address.
We keep inquiries only for as long as we need them to respond and to keep a reasonable record of our correspondence. If an inquiry turns into a working relationship, related correspondence is kept for as long as that relationship requires, or longer where the law requires it. You can ask us to delete your message at any time — see Your choices and rights.
Third-party services
We keep third-party services to a minimum:
- Google Fonts. Our pages use the Inter and Manrope typefaces, which your browser downloads directly from Google’s servers (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com). To deliver them, Google receives your IP address and standard browser information, such as your browser type and the page that requested the font. Google describes how it handles this information in its privacy policy.
- Hosting and email providers. The website runs on servers operated by a hosting provider, and contact form messages are delivered through an email service. These providers process information on our behalf only to provide those services.
Some of these providers may process information outside Pakistan. There are no embedded videos, maps, social media widgets, chat tools or advertising networks on this site.
Server and security logs
Our web server automatically records basic technical details about each request: the IP address it came from, the date and time, the page or file requested, the response status, and your browser’s user agent and referring page.
We use these logs to keep the website secure and reliable — for example, to detect and block abusive traffic, limit excessive requests and diagnose errors. They are not used to build profiles of visitors, and they are kept only as long as needed for these purposes.
What we never do
We will never:
- sell, rent or trade your personal information;
- share it with advertisers or data brokers;
- run analytics, advertising pixels, session recording or browser fingerprinting on this site;
- send you marketing messages you haven’t asked for.
We share information only with the service providers described above, or when the law requires it or it is necessary to protect the rights, property or safety of Octivra, our visitors or others.
How we protect information
The website is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection and uses strict browser security policies. The contact form is protected against forged submissions, spam and repeated automated requests, and access to inquiries is limited to the people who need it to respond.
No website or email system can be made completely secure, but we take care to protect the information you share with us and will act promptly if we learn of a problem.
Your choices and rights
You can contact us at any time to:
- ask what personal information we hold about you;
- correct information that is inaccurate;
- ask us to delete your messages and contact details;
- object to how we use your information.
Please write from the email address you used to contact us, so we can confirm the request is yours. We will respond as soon as we reasonably can. You can also skip the contact form entirely and email us directly.
Children’s privacy
This website is meant for businesses and professionals. It is not directed at children, and we don’t knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has sent us information, please contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the website or our practices change. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page shows when it last changed. If we make a significant change — such as adding a new third-party service — we will describe it here.
